This is a larger,  more detailed tide pool painting than “Tide Pool Collage” done last month.  Printed and stained tissue papers were embedded in the wax to create the texture and color of encrusted rocks and anemones. This contrasts with the smooth, translucent encaustic water effects of the tide pool’s depth and flow.
